AUGUST 14: FIN DE FIESTA FLAMENCO (SPAIN/CANADA)
Led by artistic director and dancer Lia Grainger, and accompanied by guitarist Dennis Duffin, Fin de Fiesta brings Spanish inspiration to Canadian soil. The August 14th performance will feature local and international talents: dancer Deborah Dawson, singer Alejandro Ugarte, flautist Lara Wong and percussionist Davide Sampaolo. The group name translates to End of the Party, making reference to the lively, unpredictable and unrestrained spirit of the open jam session that occurs at the end of a traditional flamenco show.

AUGUST 21: ACHÉ BRASIL
Aché Brasil combines music, dance, martial arts and acrobatics into a dynamic and exhilarating performance. The group highlights Brazil’s culture, traditions and music in a spectacle of movement and colour, providing audiences, young and old, a greater understanding of Brazil’s rich and complex heritage. The group’s musical repertoire includes infectious rhythms such as Samba, Coco de Roda, Maracatu and Capoeira.

AUGUST 28: N’NATO BARA FA!
N’Nato Camara is a member of the Susu tribe, from Guinea, West Africa. This versatile and inspiring artist has toured the world performing and teaching the rhythms and dances that accompany rituals, celebrations and everyday life in Guinean villages. N’Nato will be joined on stage by an ensemble of energetic dancers and musicians to close the 2016 edition of All Over the Map in the best possible way!
