Out Innerspace welcomes the public to sit in on their creative process as they enter three days of research at the Roundhouse Performance Centre, in preparation for the premiere of their upcoming premiere in October 2010.
more...Tiffany Tregarthen (choreographer) and David Raymond (choreographer/video designer) will be joined by James Proudfoot (lighting designer), Jeff Younger (composer), Connor Moore (assistant video designer) along with dance artists, Alison Denham, Karissa Barry, Tanner Plecas and Lexi Vajda. This is a special opportunity to witness the early creation stages of a new multimedia dance work; composing dance, video, light and sound together into a cohesive form.
There will be a 15 minute Q & A session with the artists at 4pm.

Serendipity

Next week, for the first time, Aeriosa performers will dance on the Vancouver Block, a designated heritage building near the intersection of Granville and West Georgia.
more...Built in 1912, this art nouveau high-rise is easily identified by its crowning architecture - a four-sided clock tower.
Artistic Director of Aeriosa, Julia Taffe will be creating new choreography for six dancers suspended from ropes on the north, west and south walls of the building.
Two day open rehearsals of the creation of Serendipity will culminate into the three performance presentations scheduled on Sept 1st, 2010.
Aeriosa is managed by New Works.
