New Works is a non-profit charitable organization with a mandate to develop communities through art engagement.

To achieve this mandate, New Works:

• Presents dances of every style and tradition to reflect the inclusivity and diversity of Vancouver itself,
• Manages and mentors Vancouver-based dance artists to foster new art and culture in our communities,
• Creates affordable programming, workshops and educational activities for artists and audiences to make dance more accessible.
• Makes dance accessible - both dance programs and performance experiences
