All Over The Map
July 24 & 26 and August 14 & 16 | Celebrate with us at All Over the Map, a free series of outdoor dance performances celebrating diverse artists from across cultures and styles. This year’s program features eight artists and groups showcasing street dance, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, juggling, contemporary dance, and more. The series runs over two weekends with captivating shows at two locations: Vancouver Public Library, Central Library and at the Picnic Pavilion at Granville Island.

NWXR Summer Residency | Presented in partnership with Chimerik 似不像, this residency is envisioned as an opportunity for an emerging embodied and new technology artist (or artists) to push the boundaries of their practice, take creative risks, and dive into the process of development with New Works.
Summer Studio Artists in Residence
Welcome our Summer Studio Artists in Residence | New Works is pleased to introduce Dr T'uy't'tanat-Cease Wyss and Salomé Nieto & elika mojtabaei as our Summer Artists in Residence. This intensive period allows artists space to focus in on their craft with no pressure to pressure to show or share a final product.

Avery Warren
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Avery Warren to New Works as our Summer Production Intern! Avery will be working closely alongside our staff and technical team to gain hands-on experience in planning, producing, and managing outdoor mini dance festivals through the summer.
