Afro Van Connect, August 23, 2020
Afro Van Connect performed at New Work’s and CMHC Granville Island’s Summer Dance and Music Event on August 23, 2020 at Ron Basford Park in Vancouver.
The performance was hosted by Dae Shields, founder and director of Afro Van Connect and there were performances by Aisha Kay, Vuyo and Jonelle.

Aisha Kay is an upcoming R&B & Soul singer from Vancouver, Canada. She loves using her lyrics to relate and connect with others.
Vuyo is a Queer, South African spoken word artist who currently resides works and creates on these ancestral lands the coast Salish peoples. They are honored to be her today to share some of their art, poetry, and traditional Xhosa folk songs.
Jonelle is a singer, producer & engineer. She will be performing all originals that she has produced and engineered.
